Mark LaBere - From Bismarck, ND to Fort Collins, CO

Mark LaBere began his leadership career, in earnest, at the Bismarck, ND-based J-Sons Construction—a company he would end up serving for more than 16 years. 

From there, LaBere would enjoy executive leadership roles for at such companies as Vergent Products, Universal Well Site Solutions, Heating Plumbing Engineers, AscendCFO, FCI Constructors and Adolfson & Peterson Construction. 

Recently, he served as advisor for an entrepreneurial program in Fort Collins, Colorado.

Mark LaBere has enjoyed a rewarding career in high-level executive leadership positions. 

Once the CFO of a Bismarck, ND construction company, LaBere has also enjoyed success as the leading financial professional at FCI Constructors, Inc.—a regional construction firm he served as Chief Financial Officer from April 2011 to July 2012.

He enjoyed many responsibilities in this role, including the maintenance of credibility of the company’s finance group and oversight of all aspects of the firm’s finance and accounting functions.

Mark LaBere - 16 Years with the Bismarck, ND J-Sons Construction

Mark LaBere is the former Chief Financial Officer at the Bismarck, ND J-Sons Construction, Inc. He started with the firm in 1988 in the midst of his undergraduate student career at the University of Mary. 

His tenure at J-Sons lasted just over 16 years—and included the management of all financial reporting, payroll, tax reporting, corporate compliance, job cost accounting and pension and 401k reporting at the firm. 

He accepted the position of Controller at Vergent Products in 2004.
