Mark LaBere worked as a concrete laborer and rough carpenter for his father’s Bismarck, ND, construction firm during his later teenage years.

It was this early experience that ingrained within LaBere a deep appreciation and understanding of the construction industry – a base of knowledge that, when combined with his education in engineering, accounting and business, provided the foundation for what has become a successful 30-year career.

Mark LaBere’s initial foray into the world of finance and accounting began with the Bismarck, ND-based J-Sons Construction – where he served as Chief Financial Officer from 1988 to 2004.

From there, LaBere enjoyed the opportunity to work within C-level positions with a variety of firms – including Vergent Products (Controller, 2004-2005), Universal Well Site Solutions (CFO, 2005-2007), Heating Plumbing Engineers (CFO & VP of Finance, 2008-2010), AscendCFO (CFO and CFO Business Partner, 2010-2011), FCI Constructors, Inc.
