LaBere, formerly of Bismarck, ND, has worked in finance and accounting for more
than three decades and is an experienced C-level manager and adept finance
professional. Mark LaBere explains that one way to retain top talent in your
organization is by providing feedback regularly.
Research
proves that providing feedback helps employees succeed. However, it is
incredibly difficult to improve if you are only given feedback once in a blue
moon.
In fact, more than 60 percent of employees say they would like to receive
feedback regularly, including both constructive and positive feedback.
Even though giving constructive feedback is difficult and most management professionals do not like discussing poor performance, over 90 percent of employees agree that feedback, if given appropriately, has a positive impact on improving performance.
